Membership is restricted to professional artists. Prospective members must earn at least part of their income from an artistic discipline (i.e. Visual/Media Arts, Theatre, Writing, Music, Photography, etc). Some units are subsidized.

A person may be deemed an artist based on a combination of the criteria listed in the Canadian Artist Code.

To qualify for LVAC membership, an applicant must submit:

1 – up-to-date artistic CV

2 – Housing Application Form with the cover letter

3 – Eligibility Questionnaire  Be sure to consult the Itemized List, which specifies what kind of support materials you should include in your application.
